either the Windows or SuSE. James, If you have it some other place
besides the default, just go to Tools, Account Settings, Server
Settings. near the bottom is Local Directory: with a browse
button you can use to change the setting to wherever your files
are. If you don't see the Local Directory: then you are probably
seeing a bug with Thunderbird. Stretch the window size vertically
to make Local Directory appear.

It "should" be simple... Thunderbird stores all the email in it's ownsomething like this
folder.. .in Windows I think it's in "Documents and Settings"
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\mawjqit3.default\Mail\accountnamehere
somewhere... don't have a copy of WIndows anywhere to check. InIn my case I keep the data in a different place that is available to
Linux, it's in:
$HOME/.thunderbird/<some_scramble_of_text>.default/Mail
either the Windows or SuSE. James, If you have it some other place
